1. Instead of rushing to the shops, take a look at your existing collection and repurpose.

2. Add natural elements such as pinecones and branches for some festive spirit.

3.  DIY ornaments, such as paper snowflakes or paper chains using left over decorative wrapping.

4. Fill glass vases and vessels with baubles or tinsel for a contemporary centre piece.

5.  Add some festive fun to indoor plants – the fun doesn’t have to stop with just one tree!
