What to Expect: The Crave Home Staging Process from Start to Finish

Preparing your home for sale can feel overwhelming, particularly when timelines are tight and decisions matter.

At Crave Home Staging, we have developed a clear and considered process to ensure every project runs smoothly – from your initial enquiry through to installation day and beyond.


STEP 1: Initial Enquiry and Availability

Every project begins with an enquiry, whether submitted via our online form, email, or over the phone.

Our office team will review the details and confirm key information, including whether the property will be vacant and your preferred installation timeframe. We will also check availability to ensure we can meet your required dates.

STEP 2: Ballpark Quotation

Once we have an understanding of the property, our quoting team will prepare a ballpark estimate.

This provides a clear indication of cost and allows you to make an informed decision before proceeding further.

If you are looking to secure an installation date early, we can take a deposit based on the lower end of this estimate while the next steps are finalised.

STEP 3: Site Visit and Styling Plan

If you are comfortable with the ballpark figure, one of our stylists will attend the property for a site visit.

During this visit, they will assess the home in detail, take photographs, and plan the layout for each space. They will also consider the target buyer and select an appropriate staging style.

Following the visit, the stylist will curate a tailored furniture and styling package designed specifically for your property.

STEP 4: Formal Quotation

You will then receive a detailed quotation.

This includes furniture hire, styling, transport, and any additional services such as artwork installation. Each element is clearly outlined so you understand exactly what is included.

STEP 5: Securing Your Booking

To confirm your staging, we require a 25% deposit within three days of accepting the quotation.

This secures your installation date and allows our team to move forward with planning and logistics.

If you have already paid a deposit based on the ballpark estimate, this will be applied to your final quote.

STEP 6: Pre-Installation Coordination

Once your booking is confirmed, our administration team manages all pre-installation logistics. This may include liaising with strata managers, booking lifts, and arranging parking for our trucks to ensure installation day runs efficiently.

The remaining balance is due five days prior to installation.

STEP 7: Preparation Behind the Scenes

In the lead-up to install day, our team begins preparing your project.

Stylists finalise selections and refine the overall vision, while our warehouse team carefully picks, checks, and packs each item.

Our logistics team then coordinates delivery schedules to ensure everything arrives on time.

STEP 8: Installation Day

On the day of installation, our team transforms your home.

Furniture is placed to define each space, and styling is layered to create a cohesive, inviting result. Every detail is considered to ensure the property presents at its absolute best for photography and inspections.

STEP 9: Post-Campaign and Collection

Our involvement continues throughout your campaign.

Our administration team monitors your listing and tracks its progress. As your six-week hire period approaches its end – or sooner if the property goes under offer – we will be in touch to check how things are progressing and confirm key dates, including when the contract becomes unconditional and the anticipated settlement.

We will then coordinate a suitable collection date and schedule your pack-up. We typically require a minimum of one week’s notice, or two weeks during busier periods, to ensure a smooth and timely removal.
